Tucker scored 28 points and freshman Ra'kyra Gabriel chipped in 18 points and seven rebounds for the Knights (30-4), who feature seven freshman, two sophomores with only one junior and one senior.

The loss was the first for Mission Prep (32-2), who had won 29 straight games, however they had lost six consecutive state title games, heading into Saturday's contest.

"I think it is an honor to play with the team and or coach," Tucker said following the game. "It was our goal from the beginning (of the season) and we accomplished it."
