I-5 reopened in Stockton following big-rig spill
STOCKTON, CA - An overturned big rig brought the northbound direction of Interstate 5 in Stockton to a standstill Tuesday morning.
Initial California Highway Patrol reports stated the big rig tipped near Thornton Road around 11:10 a.m., spilling its load of glass which shattered all over the road.
The Interstate was closed through 2:40 p.m. due to cleanup efforts.
According to the CHP, the driver of the truck was not injured in the accident.
