Man's body discovered at abandoned Stockton warehouse | News

STOCKTON, CA - A man's body was discovered on the 1800 block of East Market Street in Stockton Tuesday morning.

Officer Joe Silva of the Stockton Police Department said a passerby spotted the man's body on the ground near an electrical panel at an abandoned warehouse and called police at approximately 8:53 a.m. 

Emergency responders arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The individual was described as an Hispanic man in his late 40s to early 50s. Silva could not confirm the man had been electrocuted.

Investigators were called to the scene to determine why the man was at the location and whether his death was a result of electric shock.
