Fire destroys Stockton home, displaces families | News

STOCKTON, CA - A two-alarm fire destroyed a duplex and displaced two families Tuesday night.

According to Stockton Fire Department spokesperson Ralph Ibarra, the fire broke out around 7:30 p.m. on the 700 Block of North Commerce Street.

Twenty-six firefighters were on scene, and the fire was extinguished around 8:15 p.m., said Ibarra.

Seven people were displaced from their homes. Ibarra said there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is unclear.
