Police: Shoplifting suspect bites 1 officer, runs over another

STOCKTON, Calif. -  Stockton police said they are looking for a woman who bit a loss prevention officer and ran over another following an alleged shoplifting incident Sunday.

According to Stockton police reports, 44-year-old Bobbie Pritz and a young girl entered a business on the 4900 block of Claremont Ave. around 3:50 p.m. Sunday. Once inside, the pair grabbed some items and fled the store without paying.

When loss prevention officers tried to arrest the pair, Pritz bit one officer and ran over another before speeding away in her green 1998 Mazda, California license number 6FAW994, police said.

The juvenile girl was arrested at the scene and cited before being released to her guardian.

Officers were still looking for Pritz on Monday.
