True miracle! Rescued blind dog's sight restored!

True miracle! Rescued blind dog's sight restored!

Animal Friends Connection put out a plea for help to restore Fancy’s sight and it was resoundingly answered! Fancy is a beautiful 7-year-old Cocker. She was blind in both eyes due to cataracts though we were thrilled when Dr. Olin of Village Vet evaluated that he could restore sight in BOTH eyes! He then provided a 40% discount off the normal surgery prices which included her post surgery medication and follow up for a year!

Police release photos of man wanted in Stockton armed bank robbery

STOCKTON, CA - Bank security cameras captured four images of a man who held up the Rabobank on the 1800 block of W. March Lane just before 5 p.m. Monday, according to police.

Stockton Police Department Officer Joe Silva said the man came into the bank, started filling out an employment application and then pulled out a black handgun and pointed it at employees.

The robber ordered employees to turn over money, which they did, and then he ran out of the bank, Silva said.

The man was described as black, 27 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighing 160 pounds. He had a teardrop-shaped tattoo below his eye. He wore a beige, multi-colored sweatshirt, teal green shirt and a black baseball cap with the letters "FFF" embroidered in white thread.

They started off their morning walking the homeless pups at the Animal Friends Connection Sanctuary. After walking the dogs 2 1/2 miles, they jumped into providing a spa day! They bathed, blow dried, brushed and snuggled! One volunteer, Elia, gave 12 dogs a bath! She is coming back to volunteer again!

Volunteer Dog Walkers needed daily at 10:00 am for Walk N Wag (no Weds). Walking the sanctuary pups makes a HUGE difference in their happiness, calmness, helps with leash skills and socialization. Not to mention all the love you receive in return and the health benefits! My doc is always saying to get in more exercise. This is a great motivator! Not only do you get healthy but think of all the great karma your earning at the same time. Your time and love is a precious gift to these pups!
